With over 25 years of combined experience across the U.S. and Sub-Saharan Africa, we bring deep expertise in branding, graphic design, web development, video productaion, and strategic communication. We’re not just designers—we're storytellers, committed to turning your vision into reality through compelling visuals and meaningful messages.

Inspired by the marimba, a traditional Swahili musical instrument that connects artist and audience, we approach design with the same philosophy: fostering creativity, communication, and connection.

Our Story

Marimba Creative was founded by Hoclay Mganga, who moved from Tanzania to the U.S. in 2013 with his family. After leading Kikoi Innovative Media, a successful communications agency in Dar es Salaam, Hoclay wanted to bring that same energy, creativity, and passion to clients in the U.S. His journey came full circle in 2020 when the pandemic led him to embrace his long-held dream of establishing Marimba Creative.
